our story
Movement has always been my therapy.
After a near-fatal delivery with my daughter, Chloe, new motherhood felt heavy. Finding the time to move while navigating a traumatic recovery felt nearly impossible. When I was cleared to work out, I desperately missed the energy of a boutique class, but the mom guilt was real, and committing to a workout without a babysitter felt so out of reach.
Out of desperation to feel like myself again, and honestly to wear clothes I felt confident in, I got creative. I started incorporating pilates and barre-inspired movements into my new life, literally pulsing in first position during contact naps to get Chloe to sleep, and holding planks during tummy time.
Slowly but surely, the magic returned. I finally began to feel and look like me again.
While on maternity leave from my corporate tech career, I pursued my fitness certification to empower other moms to reclaim their physical and mental strength after childbirth, find their flow, and romanticize the everyday. I founded The Stroller Edit for the moms who get it. What began as an intimate, local movement in Orange County built a community of incredible moms and now close friends. Now I’m bringing that exact method to moms everywhere.
Welcome to the modern wellness movement for women who believe motherhood should be an expansive chapter rather than a compromise.
Here, you never have to choose between time for your family and showing up for yourself.
No sitter? No problem.
Meet the community you wish you had since day one. I’m so glad you’re here.
xx,
Amanda
